Self Drive Group Hire

We have one minibus available for Self Drive Hire which is a 15 seat Ford Transit which includes the driver.

Our Permit 19 licence requires all users to become members either individually and or as a group. To be eligible for group membership, your organisation must be a charity, social or voluntary group.

Current Charges

Weekday – Daily – 08:00 - 08:00 = £65

Weekday Half Day – 4 Hours = £40

Weekday Evening Hire – Collect between 15:00 & 17:00 and return by 08:00 = £50

Two Day Hire – 08:00 - 08:00 = £120 (Not including the weekend)

Three Day Hire – 08:00 - 08:00 = £175

Four Day Hire – 08:00 - 08:00 = £ 230

Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 08:00 = £280

Weekend – Pick-up on Friday between 12:00 & 17:00 and return by 08:00 on Monday = £145

Weekly Hire – 08:00 - 08:00 = £330

Cleaning Charge - £15 if returned in a dirty or unacceptable condition.

The minibus has to be returned with a full tank of fuel or there is an alternative option based on mileage.

Insurance Excess

In the event of an accident, an insurance excess of £250 will charged for drivers aged 25 or over. Drivers aged 21-24 an insurance excess of £350 will be charged.

Volunteer Driver Scheme

Unless your group has their own Permit 19, all drivers will need to register with us a Volunteer Driver. To register, the Volunteer Driver will need to come to our Witchford Depot with their driving licence for driving assessment, instruction in minibus safety and vehicle familiarisation course which takes approximately 45 minutes.
