Dial-a-Ride made to your quality of life? Summarised as follows :-

Dial-a-Ride made to the quality of life’?
- I could not get to the places Dial-a-Ride takes me.
- DAR enables me to get out, make new friends &
socialise each week – A life line!
- Dial-a-Ride gets me out. No longer house bound. It means
everything to my life.
- I am no longer a vegetable. Thank you.
- Dial-a-Ride has added a little enjoyment to our lives.
- Dial-a-Ride stops me from being bored and lonely.
- Since joining DAR I have met many who have become good
friends. Before I was on my own.
- A perfect lifeline. It has given me independence.
- What ever the weather it’s good to know Dial-a-Ride will
take me there and back safely and happily.

nothing for us elderly folk to get us out and about.

independent. I have met people that I wouldn’t have otherwise met.
- DAR is a God-send. I would be at a loss without it.
- I would be virtually house bound with out Dial-a-Ride.
- When my husband was in hospital DAR was a lifesaver.
- It is nice to know you are there when needed. The drivers
are helpful.
- Being disabled DAR enables me to get out, do my shopping
and visit interesting places.
- DAR gives me that most important quality…..INDEPENDENCE .
- Without DAR I would have to rely on friends to do my shopping
and take me places.
- I wouldn’t be able to go on holiday without DAR.
- DAR gives me quality of life.
- I am 80 and could not manage without DAR or the help of
the drivers.

- DAR enables me to go places I wouldn’t otherwise be able
to go (shopping, lunches to meet friends) I would be house-bound without
it.
